I wanted the stand to be no larger than vital for the Tv and related cable box, Dvd player, video game machines, etc. Also, I wanted rounded corners and the potential to rotate and tilt the screen when desired. This stand met my needs and exceeded my expectations. The 60" Lcd was mounted in its highest location (I used the "Tv mount attached to the stand" configuration). There is 4.5" of clearance in the middle of the top glass shelf and the Tv's lower edge, giving usable space for electronics or whatever. The widest size of the top glass shelf is 1" wider than the Tv screen, so the size is a "match" in my opinion. All parts were present, assembly was easy, the unit is strong, and the appearance is top notch. The glass shelves seem abundance strong sufficient for my needs. I still need to dispose my cables good as they remain somewhat visible. I would propose this stand.
